Sreekanth Vamadevan
Industry Experience: Sreekanth brings over 17 years of experience in international banking, having held senior roles at Standard Chartered, Doha Bank, RBS, and ABN Amro, and more recently in FX and crypto operations at GCEX.
Expertise: An expert in trade finance, compliance, and automation, he combines deep industry knowledge with a strong academic foundation.
Education: Holds an MSc in FinTech from the University of Strathclyde and an MBA from Anna University.
Leadership Role: At TradeGaze, Sreekanth leads the company's vision, strategy, and customer engagement, driving innovation in trade finance solutions.
Dr James Bowden
Academic Leadership: James is a Senior Lecturer in FinTech at Strathclyde Business School, where he directs the MSc FinTech programme and co-leads the Financial Regulation Innovation Lab (FRIL).
Research Focus: His research focuses on applying AI and unstructured data (text, audio, imagery) to solve complex financial challenges, bringing cutting-edge academic insights to real-world applications.
Education: Holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Dundee and an MSc in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling.
Contribution to TradeGaze: James brings academic rigour and innovative thinking to TradeGaze's R&D, ensuring our platform is both cutting-edge and practically grounded in solid research foundations.
